Judy has been in the field of education for over 30 years. For 20 years she passionately worked with children, school staff and parents. Her career included being a classroom teacher, strategist, special education program specialist (for autism spectrum disorders and mental health programs) and a conference presenter. Then for the next 8 years, Judy supported families relocating worldwide as a Global Field Supervisor and Special Educational Needs Consultant for a global educational consulting firm. Judy has lived in several provinces in Canada, as well as in California, the United Kingdom and Venezuela. She received her teaching and undergraduate degrees from Queen's University and her master’s degree in Comparative Education Studies from the University of Calgary. In her spare time Judy loves to travel, play golf and tennis, garden and spend time with her family including her granddaughter.
