Laurie Kowalski

Laurie has worked in the field of special education and speech therapy for over 10 years. She worked as a lead teacher in a special education classroom in a program for students with autism. She then transitioned into the role of program director where she currently oversees all the special education departments. Laurie’s passions include promoting inclusive learning environments and collaborating with teachers in areas of differentiated instruction. Laurie received her BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Austin. She then obtained her Speech Language Pathology-Assistant license while completing her M. Ed. in Special Education at Texas Tech University. Living in Miami, Laurie enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling with her husband.
