Galette with Cherry Tomatoes & Leeks (Nancy Perches in Northern California)
The Galette is a free form French homemade crust topped with leeks, goat cheese and tomatoes. There is nothing like homemade crust, it has a much fresher taste than store bought.
Currently with my son at home, he helps me cook every night for dinner. At the beginning we started with just dishes he liked, but we have expanded and rolling of the eyes has been kept to the minimum. We’ve made Chicken Marbella, Mac and Cheese, stews, and pasta. He has a positive attitude! He just took a summer class waiting for college to start.
